V-Band is SS on down pipe side and mild steel on the other side. This is so when welding your exhaust pipe you do not need to worry about welding to stainless.
This pipe is designed to bolt up to the factory 3.4L lower flange found on 1995-2000 Toyota 4Runner and Tacoma with federal emissions. This pipe is what we recommend to bolt to our 3.4L 5VZ driver side crossover pipe. This will give you a v-band flange to attach your exhaust to. The V-band is intended for a 2.5" OD pipe.
